Sourcelabs is a high-quality consultancy company that was founded for developers by developers. We believe that happy developers make a high impact. That's why we value a good work-life balance, support employee vitality, and invest a lot in professional development and growth. Our clients appreciate our deep expertise and know they can count on us to tackle complex and technically challenging projects. How? Because we keep being curious, we question the status quo and we keep investing in our technical skills. It's during Sourcelabs internal meetups that we experimented with new technologies like Dapr, GraphQL, Serverless, Kafka, Machine Learning, Game Development, creating your own Chrome extension, or (yep) working with 'no code' platforms. Because… why not? We constantly want to learn and grow - maybe on the next project one of these technologies will be used.

As one of the fastest growing programming languages Kotlin is used or on the roadmap of the big majority of our customers. The biggest advantage of that programming language is the fact that it interacts nicely with the JVM ecosystem - this is an opportunity for clients to modernize their codebase and use a modern and compact code instead of or in addition to the (25+years old) Java. The code is more compact and expressive so it’s not a surprise that many of the Kotlin features are slowly finding their way into other languages.
We are one of the proud Community Sponsors of the Dutch Kotlin User Group (www.kotlin.nl) - we believe in Kotlin since its beginning and we support developers by organizing Kotlin workshops, meetups, and trainings.
